The week-long Annual Texas Star Party will be hosted on the magnificent Prude Ranch, a 3500 acre mile-high ranch located near Fort Davis on Highway 118... 12 miles from McDonald Observatory. The perfect place for the perfect star party ... a huge gathering of more than 500 of the most serious astrophotographers and observers from around the world. Activities include evening speakers, afternoon amateur talks, vendor displays, ATM/Astrophotography/Observing contests and programs, and some of the DARKEST SKIES in North America.

Two Rivers Spring Star Party Apr. 23rd
We invite you to come enjoy a weekend under the Stars at the First Annual Two Rivers Spring Star Party. Explore the Universe on a 20 acre field under visual limiting Mag 6 skies. Guest Speakers, Raffle Drawing. Campers and Rv's along with pets are welcome. Visit the Birth Place of Mark Twain, Shopping nearby, Come work on an Astronomical Society Certificate, meet new friends, or get re-aquiainted with old friends, Pre-Registration ends March 15th, walk ups will be higher. Catering is avaible.
We are astronomers who privately own a small working farm growing small grain and hay. The farm is located 6 miles north / north east of Barry, Il and Interstate 72/36 on the Pike and Adams county line and 3 miles from the nearest paved road. Car and truck traffic is far and few. It is very quite you can hear a car more then 3/4 of a mile traveling on the gravel roads.
We are hard to find but worth the trip.
Georgia Sky View - A Stellar Event April 23rd - 26th
The Flint River Astronomy Club will host its fifth annual Star Party on April 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 26th - 2009 at Camp McIntosh - Indian Springs Park (near Jackson, GA).
$45.00 per person registration. (four days - three nights) Special "family rate" also available.
Speakers will include Dr. Richard Schmude, Larry Owens, Phil Sacco, and others.
Door prizes. Saturday evening - Pot Luck Dinner.
